These days nothing is off limits for weddings. That includes wedding dresses, the wedding tiself, and the style a bride and groom might like to exhibit.
The term goth doesnt necessarily bring to mind brides or weddings, but more young women that have embraced that style are getting married and theyre doing it their way. Some will embrace touches of traditional wedding styles while others will go full boat in the other direction and wear something that others might think is a bit out there.
With goth weddings there are no standards for color, although traditionally theyll stick with black, white or red.

What is the origin of the tiered wedding cake?
Back in the mid-1800s guests would bring small cakes to a wedding; said cakes would be stacked on top of each other. Later a French baker created a cake in the shape of the small cakes and smothered it in icing. This is now known as the tiered cake, and to this day remains the traditional treat for a wedding.

There have been many weddings that have had outer space themes, but realistic and science fiction style. But there hasnt been a true wedding in outer space yet. However, there was one that came close and two companies vying for the opportunity to have the first one come true.
The one that came close was a wedding ceremony held in 2003 between a bride in Texas and a cosmonaut that was in space. The cosmonaut was Yuri Malenchenko and the bride was Ekaterina Dmitriev, and she had a cut-out of him next to her as she took the vows.
