The rewarding thing about asking a bride how she felt in her wedding dress, is how often those three words are a perfect depiction of her entire day. And for Sunny + Patrick, their summer Santa Barbara wedding was just as the bride had described: elegant, classic and beautiful. So let us count the ways todays Real Wedding was adorned with the most exquisite detailsa rose petal and lemonade sipping ceremony, saying I do under a lace canopy complete with a hanging chandelier, lush floral arrangements and a sprig of lavender on each place settingand Sunnys subtle and flowing veil that perfectly compliments her Amsale gown.

Happy Friday!!!! It’s time to celebrate – we’ve made it to the weekend. And, for me . . . it’s my hubby’s birthday so we’ll likely be having pizza and staying in-front of the fireplace as we are all still trying to get over being sick this past week. Moving onto the inspiration for today . . . we are ending the Wedding Vendor Challenge week with a photo shoot for a bridal shower for 4 including a tablescape and dessert display. Shafoone of Making Your Event Special and Pretty Pear Bride used two shades of blue with an accent of silver. For the main table Shafonne used a light blue table cloth with a silver sequin overlay.

When our good pal Rachel Leonard asked if she could shoot their March edition of Why I Love My Dress in our shop, we were thrilled! Not for us as much as our cool brides who always have the greatest style and find dresses that completely suit their personalities perfectly. We just love that we get the smartest and laid back brideswe like to call them bridechillas!
