Fashion Wedding Trends June 30th. 2011, 11:57pmIf you love to travel or you live close to the mountains, it just might be up your alley to have your wedding in a mountain location. The best thing about mountain weddings are the vista views, which prove to be a great backdrop to wedding pictures. Here are 4 mountain wedding locations you might not know of that maybe youd like to consider.

1. Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park, NC. Folks not from the area are surprised by the mountains and the views in North Carolina, which makes this a special place for a wedding. As you can see, youre atop a large rock with wonderful views of Lake Lure and Hickory Nut Gorge, and believe it or not you can get 150 people up there to watch your wedding.

2. Regan Beach, Lake Tahoe NV. People dont think about it all that much but Lake Tahoe is actually surrounded by mountains. The views are spectacular here off the shores of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and it can accommodate 125 guests.

3. Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, CO. This beautiful wedding venue is located within the Rocky Mountains and sits along both a river and a lake. But they allow you to select almost any background for your wedding, including being out in the middle of the fields, on a trail, or even higher up if you want to do some climbing.

4. Mt. Shasta, Mt. Shasta, CA. This northern California wedding spot is located in the Trinity Mountains close to Redding, CA. This is a special location because they only cater to weddings, and thus theyre already set up to accommodate not only the wedding but all the guests lodging as well. You can get married outside of inside, but if the weathers good why would you want to be inside?
