Potential brides tend to get more nervous than potential grooms do the day before the wedding, while grooms tend to get more nervous the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, theres little to do on the day of the wedding for the groom but there are plenty of ideas for brides-to-be the day before. Lets look at 5 of those ideas.
1. Exercise. Yes, we know, this doesnt sound particularly glamorous or exciting. But its a great way to work off some tension and extra energy, especially if you do it in the morning. Either go to the gym for awhile or maybe go to a beautiful scenic area with friends and take in a long walk.
2. Go to the spa. Get a little pre-wedding pampering in by treating yourself to a host of options. The manicure and pedicure are a must. Maybe go into the steam room then get a massage, or languish in a hot tub or Jacuzzi for awhile. Have you ever had the rainbow therapy treatment? Relaxation is yours.
3. Go to the movies with friends. A movie is a great way to not only enjoy yourself with your friends, but to relax some because youll be sitting in the theater in those comfortable seats (go to a good theater) and can just chill while the movies playing. And you can go either during the day or after the rehearsal dinner if your wedding is later the next day and you need a reason to calm down some.
4. Set up a lunch date with friends at a nice restaurant. Sure, youll be going to dinner before or after your rehearsal and you might see some of these same people, but the parameters are much different for lunch and maybe you can spend time with some of your friends that have just come into town for the wedding.
5. Go to a small jazz club with a few friends and even your soon-to-be husband and his friends. Nothing says that every party has to be raucous. A night of cool jazz with friends can be really relaxing and put you in the right mood for the next day.
