In October we brought up the concept of wearing fur wraps along with a wedding dress. The truth is that there are many styles of wedding shawls, or wraps, that can help to accentuate a wedding gown ensemble, and some of those you can get right here.

At Bridepower, we offer an assortment of shawls that will compliment any wedding gown that you might want to order from us. We dont do real fur, but offer faux furs as well as angora shawls, mesh, satin and chiffon shawls as well.

Wedding shawls can be any size youd like. They can cover only the shoulders or be long enough to reach the bottom of the wedding dress. They can be just a wrap or worn like a jacket with either short or long sleeves. They can be full and developed like a fur or gauzy like netting.

A wedding shawl is also something that can be handmade from home. There are a lot of patterns to choose from and it doesnt cost that much. Either the bride, a family member or even a close friend could probably knock one out fairly quickly if skilled, and because there are so many styles it will look great with your wedding dress.

Of course shawls can be made out of almost any material. For instance, it can be made out of bamboo, silk, satin, even tartan. Theres no one style or color that one has to select, as long as it fits their mood, the theme of the wedding if there is one, and the wedding gown itself.
