When my sister got married, she went to the Chanel counter to get color-matched cosmetics. Her lipstick lasted so well — through lots of kisses – she still swears by that rouge today (a whopping eight years later!).

There have been many weddings that have had outer space themes, but realistic and science fiction style. But there hasnt been a true wedding in outer space yet. However, there was one that came close and two companies vying for the opportunity to have the first one come true.
The one that came close was a wedding ceremony held in 2003 between a bride in Texas and a cosmonaut that was in space. The cosmonaut was Yuri Malenchenko and the bride was Ekaterina Dmitriev, and she had a cut-out of him next to her as she took the vows.
